The pet health industry can be rewarding work.

Executive level management could not be more out of tune and out of touch from the client-facing sales teams and the customers we represent. The mission to “help pets live longer lives” is grossly misleading as all this organization cares about is the P&L. They will sacrifice the mission and their accountability for the shareholder—creating a toxic atmosphere that is starting to rot the organization inside out. They set unrealistic goals quarterly in order to get out of paying variable compensation to their employees. They will work you tirelessly as you “chase the carrot” and you will not get recognition or compensated—unless you walk into a developed territory that is IDEXX friendly. Getting anything done here is close to turning a cargo ship around. Too many people doing non-meaningful work is slowing things down.
