      IDEXX is a successful company that is constantly growing. IDEXX provides a large workplace and alot of jobs for Maine.

      Cons

      It is very hard to achieve job advancement within IDEXX. The pay in comparison to other companies in the area is low.

      opportunity to work at a well established and financially successful company Intensity and fast paced environment provides more experience in shorter time Compensation is competitive with similar companies in the area

      Cons

      Dozens of senior IT employees have left recently and nothing has been done to address it. "manage by fear" - a practice used by an inexperienced, self-serving leadership group to ensure hard working IT employees continue to deliver making themselves appear successful. However, what they didn't expect was once companies started hiring again the flow of talented employees out the door would start - and continue. For those still left behind: be well aware of the likelihood that someone sitting next to you is either getting a new job or desperately seeking one. You have a choice.

      -Great compensation for those who work hard consistently -Good benefits -Great camaraderie with fellows reps -High quality products (industry leaders in all lines of business) -Distribution channels are very helpful

      Cons

      -Top heavy inside management system -All decisions must be approved at a very slow pace -Unwillingness to adapt -Forced protocols and procedures onto customers, distribution channels and outside sales disrespectfully -Regional managers/Area managers are powerless -Too many marketing managers
