Pros

Work from home, getting to know amazing people.

Cons

Designated as a woman and minority owned company, but the bulk of the company is run by old narcissistic white guys. Most middle management is out of touch with the technology needed to be considered Innovative and lack any accountability to create the culture advertised. If you accept a position with this company, your offer letter will mention that the job is temporary. I didn't think much of it at the time, but what that means is they will work you like crazy and blindsided you the second your role is no longer profitable to the company. At the end of the day, if you want to help people, this is not the way to do it. If you like having stable employment with the opportunity for growth, this is also not the place for you!

Pros

I loved the work I did. The employees are some of the hardest working folks I know, despite the environment. The jobs are interesting and challenging. The work is fulfilling. I always heard great things about the company and it’s a who’s who of experts with vast experience. I was truly excited to join the company, but then the facades came crashing down. To quote one manager, it was all “smoke and mirrors.”

Cons

Not what I was hired to do. Micromanagement at its worst Everything is a big secret. Management is horrible Pay is low for the work you do. Backstabbing galore They hire you for one job and then put you is a situation to work way above that position without appropriate compensation Management is all about the bottom line and not the employees Nepotism Pay policies are inconsistent between employees and locations. Not all employees at one location are paid under the same criteria. Shady managers They don’t follow their own HR policies Poor communication Environment of favoritism and politics No incentives or recognition for a job well done Management and senior employees are quick to smear other employees without due process.
