Cons:
Meetings and Leadership: Meetings often felt disorganized, running long without clear agendas or focus. Leadership could benefit from setting a stronger example and fostering a more professional environment.
Training and Onboarding: The training process was inadequate, leaving new hires unprepared. The recruiting process felt isolating, as I was often the only new hire, and onboarding lacked structure.
Workplace Culture: The culture was not supportive, with some unprofessional behaviors, including inappropriate comments and a lack of respect for new employees. There was also a sink-or-swim mentality, with minimal investment in employee development.
Product and Sales: The product we sold felt unnecessary, as customers could achieve similar results independently. The value proposition was unclear, and competing options often seemed more cost-effective, making sales feel misleading.
Management and Turnover: High turnover was a significant issue, with many employees leaving quickly. Management seemed overwhelmed and unable to support new hires effectively. Pay structure was also confusing, with commissions not kicking in until after several sales, which was demotivating.
Work Environment: The workplace lacked professionalism, with some staff displaying frustration or negativity. There were also concerns about inappropriate workplace relationships and a lack of focus on long-term employee growth.
