Pros

The girls on this team are the most talented recruiters that I have ever worked with. They are relationship builders to the core and advocate for the employees they hire. They truly care about someone’s success and happiness in the role. IGS Energy as a company is phenomenal and world class but their field sales team is on an entire other political spectrum.

Cons

Staffing Specialist are way undervalued. This job is incredibly hard. We have to convince people to do door to door sales and anytime staffing levels fall short, the staffing specialists are treated like scape goats and blamed. The Market Managers are jokes, most getting their jobs because of who they’re friends with, so when employees quit rapidly, the staffing specialists have to go into over drive to replace. If they hired managers for talent vs. bro status, turn over would not be as bad. Staffing Specialist are also treated as though this is the only job they can do, when it comes to promotions they are constantly told they aren’t ready and I believe it’s because they know what they’d be losing if we all moved on. For reference the top staffing Specialist makes around 70k while the Talent Acquisition Partners at Corporate who have a much easier job make 90k plus. I left after years of these bros breaking my confidence because I knew I was better and I’m so thankful. I’m on pace to make 130k this year and am treated like my voice matters and am constantly praised for my thought partnership and strategic thinking. Also, my job now is similar to the Talent Acquisition Partners at Corporate that I “wasn’t ready for.”
