Pros

IGT provides interesting and challenging work, good work life balance, at the leading slot manufacturer. Compared to the video game industry the compensation is fair to good. There are opportunity for travel as the company has offices all over the world. The company is diverse in looking at online gambling, slots, mobile, and even social gaming

Cons

The gambling industry as a whole moves at a very slow pace for innovation, IGT is no exception. IGT is well off its highpoint 8 years ago so morale for people who have been there during those times is low

Pros

Good people to work with, talented individuals, salary not bad.

Cons

Good old white boy mentality through out the company. Minorities have to prove themselves and majority of the time will not be sufficient. We had a very talented software tester he left and got tired of the way he was treat it.

Pros

Okay initial salary, good staff people, Reno is actually a very nice area. Still fairly dominant in games market. Lots of customers

Cons

Poor focus by upper management, salary growth is poor, execs take huge bulk of the pay increases, systems app development going in circles, poor creativity and innovation
