      Pros

      IGT has an on-site gym, and Cafeteria that is open for breakfast and lunch. When you start, you receive 3 weeks of vacation, 1 week of sick, and 2 float days.

      Cons

      The accounting department does not take time to train new employees. The excuse is always that there is too much work to stop and train. Additionally, managers in the accounting department are secretive. There is really no transparency. In order to get a promotion or special recognition, you need to be friends with management. There is no HR on site, and managers ignore HR type issues.

      Pros

      * Work-life balance is reasonable * Making casino games is more fun than I originally expected * Most projects have a relatively short 3-4 month timeframe so by the time you get bored with a game you are onto the next.

      Cons

      * Promotions and salary increases have been locked for three years. * Bonuses have disappeared * Stock program has disappeared * Benefits are well below average in the Bay Area * Recently talent that has left has not been replaced with comparable talent. In many cases full-time employees who have left have been replace by contractors or not replaced at all. * Depending on the role you may need to work around the clock as we have offices in Beijing, Manchester and Serbia.
