My coworkers are awesome, and it is nice to work on slot games. Also great time off policies.

Cons

Employees are not taken care of. No room for promotions or good raises. Constant threat of layoffs and upper management doesn't want the lower levels of employees to know anything. We knew about layoffs for months before it happened. They didn't tell us about layoffs until AFTER they announced it to the media. Layoffs were already happening, then we get an email.

Pros

Smart, hard-working colleagues with a lot of knowledge and insight, but rarely did management consult with them, or want to hear about obstacles. Great relations on my team, but silo'd teams in the department. On-site cafeteria and gym are convenient.

Cons

Little communication about overall strategy of company. Few promotions from within beyond Manager level. Employee recognition nil; morale down. So many re-orgs, people can't gain momentum. Lay-offs every year. Silos building back up out of fear and "head down getting work done." Upper management not practicing what they preach.
