Pros

Work culture, work/life balance, benefits and very accepting. I adored my department and manager and left the company due to moving. My role helped me refine my project management skills and the social tact involved working with others to meet a common goal.

Cons

It was very obvious to see the politics at play as a coworker between managers, who played favorites with schedules for other departments or who even played favorites overall on getting tasks done for anyone doing a project. This also plays a role in climbing up, not entirely but when you need recommendations for any sort of leadership role there is an awareness that someone else is getting a head start just because. There was also the issue of short staffing overall since our store was not meeting goals, with it being very hard to ignore the turnover when our roles were asked to do much more with the same amount of time. It wasn't hard to feel like you were just another cog in the machine due to the issues and that your concerns weren't a high priority. It is also very rare to climb out of store level as those positions are very coveted, so it at times feels like a retail job with just a little flair.

Pros

Great benefits , and competitive pay. Good company culture when working at most locations .

Cons

Upper management has a culture of that is non inclusive. This location has the highest turnover in the company. They do not know how to lead , they just manage and can’t get anything done . They do not live the company’s values in any which way or form. It’s sad to see 100% turnover with new hires at this location. Bad training from steering management all the way down the coworker.

Pros

Was able to take a month vacation paid even tho I was part time. PTO hours add up throughout the year and you can roll them over. Eye insurance for PT too!

Cons

Management has no experience and hides when support on the floor is needed. They brought back and promoted a manager who has a personal vendetta for everyone! We knew the people she didn’t like were gonna be out. I was being demonized for my religious views and convictions, this happened to multiple staff. Worked hard and spearheaded many projects within this company only to witness other “newbies” get promoted. Address my concerns to HR which also did not thing but only made it difficult for me to move up within. If you have any conservative or religious convictions, this is not the place for you, nothing is worth compromising your views. Use your gifts and talents somewhere else! Trust me!
