Cons

One superintendent has severe narcissistic personality disorder and most likely lied on his resume. The other couldn't manage a McDonald's fry station. So there are no adults running the institution. And the inmates are expendable.

Pay is decent. Benefits are okay. That's about it

Cons

Office staff literally never answers their phones and rarely calls you back. If you need anything you need to go to the office personally and talk to them because phone communication is impossible. Supervisors/management are unprofessional and aren't even fully knowledgeable about the job. They fire people left and right and instead of hiring more they work their current employees to death. This causes angry employees to quit. The job was SUPPOSED to be 8 hour shifts but it's constantly 12 hour shifts because they cannot keep employees.
