Pros

Compensation has been good, but it can be arbitrary. I have paid off many of my obligations. Before Ricoh took over it had the best value proposition in the industry, but I can see it being eroded as Ricoh takes a more active role in the business.

Cons

Low management talent, high degree of politics and territory padding, all senior behaviors are driven by the compensation plan. Operating income has risen at the expense of sales compensation. Morale is low. In addition, the market is mature and pricing pressure is fierce. Don't be fooled by the big wins they will tell you about. They are short lived.

Pros

Great benefits, training and mutual respect from upper management. This company understands an individual's need for family and personal growth.

Cons

Unless you live in a big city, opportunities to advance our nil. Some positions can never be promoted because there is no where to move up to unless you are willing to commute hours away or even move to another district.

Pros

Good job benefits, stable company. They have a lot of training. They pay a base salary plus commission. My yearly income has increased each year. There are yearly incentive trips for the top reps that are rewarding. Good database of existing customers that you are able to work from so it is not all cold calling. There is decent support from the higher management to help you be successful.

Cons

Big corporation, hard to get little things done. The workflow process has improved but still needs much improvement. Working from a big corporation there are not many exceptions in the process.
