Above average benefits. Talented group of employees.

Cons

Poor company culture. Minimal opportunities for career growth. IMAX has reduced all employee schedules and OT opportunities as a cost saving measure during the pandemic. But hourly workers are still encouraged to work OT and on our off days without pay. It has happened in all departments from Post to Distribution to Marketing.

If you work hard you'll create opportunities for yourself. Excellent benefits, and good pay for the work. There are opportunities for growth if you're committed to them and the opportunity presents itself.

Cons

The management structure needs to be reviewed. There is a disconnect between upper management and the role of those on the floor.

Good co workers. Perks like movies food and lots of parties. Decent pay. Nice building.

Where in the building you work can really shape your view. I see so much pettiness, group think and turnover it's frustrating. Not sure what anyone thinks of China and Russia but this company LOVES them. Some of us are not so in love...
