Nice place to work, though "people management" could do MUCH better.

Pros

Great colleagues, many international opportunities if you're willing to make the necessary sacrifice, provides a lot of training in different domains (management, behavioural, language skills), good work-life balance.

Cons

Certain corporate jobs centered in Amsterdam. Reduced budgets for international opportunities following the recent crisis. Salary package much lower than peers. Human Resource Management practically inexistant!

Pros

It is a really good set up and program and you can learn a lot about financial planning and have a great experience and make good money if you do not mind working 50+ hours a week and working 9-8 + ever weekend.

Cons

Not enough good leaders. Outside of the CEO and GVP's, there are really no good leaders available to learn from. People go into leadership for the wrong reasons here. Its out of laziness and power. They are overflowed with work and do not make enough money which makes them stressed and does not give them tools to be a good leader. It also forces them to make bad financial recommendations just to keep both their head above water as wells as the people under them.
