1. False Advertisement. They give out JDs with 'Work from Home' requirements but once you apply, the HR will call and tell you that you have to move to Pune for a very meager salary. Unless you agree to the terms, you don't even go to the first round of interviews. That is the first red flag. They are not even open to looking at the potential and quality of the employee, to work out a deal that is beneficial to both parties. A mindless laborer is what they want. 2. No consideration for the employee. I was working from home for a month, as I was looking for a place to rent in Pune. I realized I wouldn't be able to afford it with the salary and requested a WFH arrangement since it was listed in their own 'Benefits' document. Even though a few employees had the arrangement, they refused to consider the request. 3. Extreme micromanagement. During the interviews, they emphasized thousands of times that micromanagement is not a culture in the company, and the only reason 'Work from Home' is mentioned but not at all entertained is to help the employee. But, in my experience, an update was taken once a day initially and later it progressed to consistent hounding, at least thrice a day. I would log off with an email update and the next day, even before I had settled onto my laptop, hounding for updates would begin. They have no trust in their employees 4. No scope for progress in the company. The manager refused to share resources with me that would help in any way to gain more information and improve work quality. They would tell you that you can take initiative and progress at your speed. But there is no support for that at all. You will end up working jobs below your potential since they need people to work their hands and not their brains. 4. They hold back money. After a horrible treatment, I decided to resign without serving the notice period which was one week. They refused to pay me for the time I had worked on the basis that I did not serve the period, which is not even mentioned in the contract. No money was added to my PF account and when asked they keep dancing around it, to this date, I have no idea what has happened to my money and how the deductions were made. Additionally, they have refused reimbursement to me. Overall, I would say it is not worth it. They will lowball you with a ridiculous offer, use you below your potential, treat you unfairly, and profit from stealing from you. I absolutely do not recommend working at the Pune branch.
