Pros

They are a major employer in the medical field in our area and they pay well.

Cons

Employee health is not practiced by the management. I naively found out that Human Relations isn't to promote healthy interactions in areas of personality friction, but to insure the legal integrity of the company, indeed reports are not fully investigated, HR's information is soley from Management. To have valid employee concerns addressed employees must resort to Grievance letters, or as in one case I know-suing the Director of their department.

Pros

benefits are pretty good. Co-workers are usually nice. They have benefit dollars that you can earn for being healthy and working out and eating healthy. Their insurance isn't too bad. Some of the doctors and really nice and approachable if you have questions or concerns about your patients. They have different locations you can float to and transfer to.

Cons

There is not always a team effort and communication can be shady between nurses and therapists. Management varies from time to time. Sometimes they micromanage too much. If one therapist is slacking or lazy, it makes it harder on the other therapists who have to pick up the slack of the other therapist.

Pros

Competitive pay, decent benefits for some

Cons

Corp leadership in PS and Rev Cycle is unsupportive and promotes revolving door. Promotions/hiring based on personal relationships and not qualifications Leadership looks to pass responsibility for poor surveys to employees. Evident double-standard in several departments Archaic operating model supported by CEO. Poor reputation within several State and National healthcare corporations.
