Pros

1. A very good place to learn. 2. We can directly interact with costumers and learn a lot. 3. Hope it’s growing.

Cons

I have been working in Invecas from the very beginning of it. But we never thought of sharing any view because nobody cares. But as hr head is viewing this comments and replying I’m hoping that these will be changed in some long term at least. I’m being specific about my points below because in other comments you asked for same ; 1. HR and IT teams are also employees of company and they work for other employees. Is there any need of special security check for employee to go reach them ? Why do we need to sign a register and explain our purpose of visit at reception? I’m already an employee of same company and I’m not going to meet PM of country. 2. We after lunch may have a small walk and little chat after lunch . Why should should management apply grease ? So that no employee gets seated. 3. What do you expect from us ? Being in office for more hours or completing our project in time ??? New chairman will come early once in a year . And will ask why emplyees are not coming at 8.30 ? And why are they not staying till 7 ? Why the hell should we stay ? 4. Admin teams feel like we are school students and he feels himself like a principal ! His staring looks and unfriendly manner hurts a lot. 5. Salaries and hikes — when you expect your company above lot other companies , we expect our salaries to be at least similar with other Vlsi companies . You guys will just take 1 silly reason for not increasing the salary and leave behind lot of projects and releases we have done successfully! 6. Hire managers efficiently. I can’t be more specific on this. But my request is to review manager performance and his interaction with team. Because a very efficient team with a bad manager cannot perform well. Thanks.

Dear Colleague, Thanks for your inputs. To start off, we are on the same page that things have to change..a lot. I also believe that the process of change, though slow, has started. Its great to see the Pros which you have mentioned in your review. But, in the spirit of our DNA of taking challenges head on, let me address the Cons which you have mentioned in the review: 1. Your input on the HR team's approachability is well received. The move to locate all support functions on a single floor was driven by the need for heightened coordination between the support teams because of the blazing speed at which we are growing. Since the Finance team too sits in the same area, as per industry best practices, the access to this floor has been limited. This has not been done to make it tough for the employees to reach HR. there have been instances where I have personally escorted employees to my cabin to make sure they do not feel this distancing. Once our growth stabilizes, I plan to move the Employee Engagement roles to the Engineering floors. 2. Please share more details at ombudsman@invecas.com. I was not able to understand this point completely. If you feel like having an face to face discussion with me, I am absolutely open to it and will keep it anonymous. 3. Deliverables matter at the end of the day. Not the time that you have spent in the office. However, there is a general expectation from entry level engineers to be in office by a certain time to make sure the managers/team leads are able to guide them as necessary and then take on higher priority tasks. It is about efficiency and not mindless enforcement of a rule. I am confused about the chairman piece, we do not have any such designation in the company. I can assure you that depending on my discussions with the Top Management, deliverables are what they care for, not the timings which have been maintained to meet these. 4. and 5. Please share more specific details on Ombudsman@invecas.com or feel free to walk in for a more detailed discussion. Your identity will be with me only, that is my promise. Feel free to test me on it. 6. Our hiring process has become more stringent and I am personally involving myself in the hiring of manager designations to ensure there is a cultural fitment. This point is critical to our success. Also, we are working on a training road-map for the existing managers. Some of these behavioral trainings were administered earlier this year to aid managers in their feedback skills and more are planned. Again, since we are a rapidly growing team, we are expanding our HR team too to support the growth in the best possible manner in the training department too. Thanks for your feedback, HR Head - INVECAS

Pros

HUGE Hallucination upon their virtual image.....and nothing else.

Cons

All the reviews till now are utter truths. That treating freshers like slaves. Weekend offs do not apply for them as they were given huge work on Fridays. If they don't come to office on Weekends, they were : Called over phones by Managers, later, intimidated that they'll have bright careers only if they work without offs/leaves and finally emotionally blackmailed by Managers who later, comment those poor freshers/juniors who don't come. By the way, ABSOLUTELY NO COMP-OFFs. Team Outings are like Dreams. Management wont support Team Managers in this. Managers, with overwhelming projects, were left no-choice except to beg, negotiate their team members. Professional Treatment, they have to crave for it. Luring freshers by going for campus placements, from reputed varsities by advertising latest technology nodes . All this were true to the core and were shared by the ex-employees. Earlier, I thought they were slightly exaggerated but, NO! I've came to know through my peers and jumped out of there eventually. Fun Part is, due to reviews, instead of checking themselves and altering policies, they've appointed a HR, who have been replying these days.

Dear Former Employee, Thanks for your feedback. I will start with a small clarification, I have not been hired to respond to reviews (though that would have been a very simple and lucrative job), this is something that i have started on my own to connect with existing and former employees to gather additional points on what we can do to improve this workplace. This is in addition to my HR-head responsibilities. With that thing out of the way, let me try to address/understand some concerns you have raised here. 1. Please feel free to share the names of these managers with as many specifics as possible with me at ombudsman@invecas.com. I will investigate this further. 2. While we do not have a comp off policy, the information that there are no comp offs is inaccurate. It is dealt with in the same manner as Work From Home, while we do not have policy for it, people still get this benefit on a case to case basis depending on the situation. The same applies to team outings, Vertical Heads are allocated budgets for each quarter and teams have started going for outings. Unfortunately that might not have been the case when you worked with us, but feel free to check with your colleagues on this. 3. You are right in your assessment that the Managers are under tremendous pressure, we are working on rectifying this. But we want to ensure that this does not become an excuse for below-par treatment of engineers. Example: In spite of these pressures, the managers have committed to ongoing feedback which requires the Managers to multiply their effort multifold. And all this has been done to improve the Employee experience. 4. We make sure that freshers who are enrolling at VEDA know the terms of their training and employment clearly. But still, i will pass on this feedback to see what can be improved there. 5. I did not understand your point on calling us a Parasitic company, for a company which has almost single-handedly created the Semiconductor Ecosystem along with launching thousands of professional careers in Hyderabad, I believe that these are very harsh words. 6. Your point on acquisitions is a mixed bag. Acquisitions always invoke a mixed bag of emotions with some employees feeling good about it and others not feeling that great about it. I would like to state this, the employees from the acquired company are treated at par with our existing workforce and we do not differentiate on this count at all. I acknowledge how you feel about this acquisition, the only thing i can say is that it would have been great if you would have given us a chance to address some of your concerns and if you would have stayed back. 7. Your last point on attrition is a bit tricky, i cant quote these numbers here because this is company's proprietary data. However, i will say this, employees have left us in the past and they will continue leaving us in the future, what is important for me at this point is whether they look back fondly at the time they spent at this organization as one filled with learning and friendships. All our efforts are in that direction. Thanks for your time and feedback, HR Head- INVECAS

Pros

NO respect, No technology , No work life balance, No trust (Soctronics and Invecas ). there is no difference both are same. Invecas is just name sake

Cons

HR, does not know how to frame the policies , how to talk , how to represent No work like balance. whatever late you stay come online , sign the register. first understnad you are in technology inductry spending the IT will improve the users productivity.I never seen based on designation , years of experience giving the laptops, etc.. NO MS office .for everything need to BEG , no proper process including HR, facilities no one knows how to talk and behave. I am very pity for IT staff, they work like donkeys to meet employees expectations . I know they cannot do much , they are managing what they have. HR , facility are so egoist what i have seen most of the times.

Dear Ex Colleague, Let me start of by saying that we would have liked you to have a better experience at this organization. From the points which you have mentioned, it seems that you have left the organization before we could show any results on our initiatives in HR or otherwise. As I have mentioned earlier in my responses on this forum, the registers will have to go and its just a matter of time. Your other points are also addressed in my previous responses (Like laptops and MS Office). Your point on IT is actually being worked upon with a very high priority and we are aware of the improvements we can make there. Again, I would say that we have started making changes to some of the pain points and though we are far from where we would like to be, we are definitely going in the right direction. If you would care to share more specific feedback, please feel free to drop us a detailed note on Ombudsman@invecas.com so that we can take appropriate action. Thanks, HR Head INVECAS
