Too Much Guesswork for a Supposedly Structured Role

Exposure to different operational areas.

Cons

There was a constant need to interpret what was expected instead of being clearly guided, and while you try to adapt, it becomes frustrating when you realize you’re spending more time figuring things out than actually executing them, and then when something doesn’t match expectations you have to redo it, which… could’ve been avoided entirely if things were clearer from the start.

It used to be great, but then went downhill

Pros

Interesting work. Devs are friendly and awesome, literally the best thing about the company.

Cons

Management issues, LOTS of nepotism. HR can be very difficult to interact with, and small issues (asking for an additional couple days to work from home) can be escalated really fast to the C-Suite if the issue involves one of the Franklin family members working at the company.
