Pros

I have been at IQPC Exchange for number of years and with IQPC in general for the best part of the decade. One I can say, with all of the hard work come big rewards! I honestly don’t think I would have learned so much and had such opportunities to earn anywhere else. The company itself offers a great, friendly environment. People here are great! And IQPC would be nothing without its people! Company prides itself as a company that truly cares about developing talent and they are right to do so! In my near 20 year work life I have never had as much training, development opportunities and support as I have here! The events business isn’t an easy one and any sales job requires grit, determination and thick skin but if you work hard you get rewarded. You may have to sometimes work late and put extra time in when your project requires it but that is balanced with an opportunity to work from home when you need to , or an opportunity to take a sabbatical to travel for a few months or work flexible hours when back from the maternity leave. Managers here don’t hide behind the closed doors but are on the office floor alongside everyone else which is great as it creates an open environment where you can talk to them about your worries or ideas there and then. IQPC isn’t for someone who wants an easy 9-5 job with as many tea breaks and lazy lunches as they desire and a huge basic without any accountability. However if you are willing to continuously learn and give your 100%, work hard and take responsibility and then be paid well for your efforts and build your career, then this could just be the right place. Many IQPC events are run abroad so it is also a great opportunity to travel, you can add some holiday before or after and go explore. Office location is great too - there are so many new restaurants around, many places to go for a lunch, coffee meeting or after-work social…and it is an easy commute too!

Cons

Office and facilities aren’t as ultramodern as some of the city firms have but as mentioned above it is conveniently located very centrally and management is working on few areas of improvement. Not a con, but rather a note- IQPC is a high-paced company, there is no denying that, everyone here is accountable for their work but as said before hard work is rewarded.

Pros

During my two years here I have experienced first class training and on-going support from my Manager which has really helped me to build my events. The London office is a really friendly environment and I feel comfortable in approaching my colleagues for their support. Whilst the lead up to an event is a busy time for all those involved, we pull together as a team to create a successful on-site experience. The central location is good and there are lots of restaurants, cafes and bars in the area.

Cons

Some of the PCs are outdated.
