Pros

I worked at IQPC for a little over a year in two different sales positions (delegate acquisition and sponsorship sales). I was in an outside sales role before coming to IQPC and was ready for a more structured work life. I learned so much in both my positions that I will take with me as I further my career. I got to talk to many high level executives from fortune 1000 companies and travel to AMAZING cities when I attended the events. All of my managers were helpful, knowledable and strived to make sure they were doing all they could for me to succeed.

Cons

I honestly wouldn’t say there are many cons. The reason I would think someone wouldn’t succeed at IQPC Exchange is if they didnt like selling over the phone. You have to know that some roles (sales especially) arnt for everyone.

Thanks for your feedback and I could not agree more that Chris is a fantastic Director. I would really encourage you to speak directly to your local HR Director regarding your ideas for progression. We are currently evaluating key projects for 2019 so this feedback would be well timed and much appreciated.

Pros

The company is 45 years old and financially stable. The division I work in, the Exchange Division, is by far the industry leader in the one-to-one meeting space. We have had significant year-over-year growth in the 5+ years I have been with the company. Therefore, the opportunities for personal and professional advancement are terrific (I have chosen to stay in sales vs management because that is where my passion is). The sales training is world class. The Benefits - insurance, PTO and Holiday time off - are all great, along with quarterly offsite activities. The company has many successful people - some who came in when just starting their careers and some with several years of experience. It's there if you want it.

Cons

This is not a con - it's a fact - we are a sales organizations - we have KPI's. There are no overnight successes, it takes time and effort, but for those who are dedicated and looking for a career it's a great place to be.
