      Great experience but low pay

      Pros

      Wide exposure to variety of clients, medical indications, and document types. Decent benefits package which includes money towards health and fitness each month. Very structured training and progression (also a con) - receive lots of training and will progress, albeit very slowly.

      Cons

      Low pay (but not that far off rest of the industry in the UK - which seems to all be low paid considering the qualifications required). Very structured training and progression - meaning it's difficult to move up the ladder unless according to Quintiles very strict time lines.

      Pros

      You feel valued, home-based positions, good colleagues, many opportunities for exposure to new therapeutic areas, phases, and sponsor companies

      Cons

      Your success at the company is based on how strong/knowledgable your line manager is - I had to figure a lot of things out by myself. Luckily one of my colleagues had a great line manager, so I was able to get a lot of info from/through her. Without her, I would have been totally lost.

      Cons

      Very US-centric - they simply need to listen more and stop thinking that they know everything. Senior management out of touch Everything is driven by cost Change, change & change - driven by bad planning & politics, less by needs Very directivtop down. No change management
