Communicating our plans and goals across the business is of the upmost importance to us, and we’re delighted that senior leaders can engage with all our employees through various channels, from our global monthly company updates - presented by our executive members, dedicated newsletters, our Global Teams Channel, a weekly email from our CEO, and Peakon, our monthly engagement survey tool. Employee feedback is essential to IRIS to provide outstanding employee experience, which is why we leverage surveys such as Great Place To Work and Peakon to hear about how each employee is doing and what we can do to make it even better at IRIS. We also have 48 Employee Voice Ambassadors (EVAs) across several departments, who support business improvements by listening to our teams feedback and presenting their findings at monthly breakfast meetings with their Executive member and Heads of Function. Pros

Can be great if you find yourself in a team with good manager/culture and I was given the part time hours I requested to help with having young kids after mat leave.

Cons

Often throw the wrong people to quickly fill jobs with negative impact on many people. Not paid fairly when moving up internally compared with bringin in external candidates.

We also operate pay scales in our professional services teams, which enables our employees to grow their salaries as their skills develop, which are reviewed in line with the cost of living each year. Employee feedback is super important to us and our managers as it supports #Innovation and #TeamWork. We’re proud to use Peakon, a monthly survey engagement tool, to provide regular qualitative and quantitative data on what our employees love about IRIS and where we can continue to improve. Currently, we’re delighted to have a Peakon engagement score of 8 out of 10, which is improving year on year and already above the benchmark. We train our managers on how to use Peakon, reply to feedback, and engage in conversation that leads to positive action.
