Amazing People! Good benefits. Hybrid work. Great work/life balance. Invests in the employees. IRIS purchased the division I work in a little over a year ago. I decided to give it 6 months to see how things went with the new company before I made any decisions of staying or taking my experience elsewhere. I jumped right in to get to meet people and network. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It did take a little time for me to get used to things but I can say I have no plans of going anywhere anytime soon. They emphasis on work life balance. As a newer company in the US they are working on improving and streamlining benefits. I am feeling more support here at IRIS than I felt in a long time at my prior company. I would definitely recommend IRIS.

Cons

Sometime the 5 hour difference between UK and US. Meetings can be super early if you work with teams in the UK. But you learn to get used to it. Communication can be a little slow at times but again something you get used to.

A very good workplace with a lot of dedicated people

- New technologies - Remote work - Friendly and dedicated people, I've always received help when I asked for it - I was never asked to work outside of the working hours, the work rhythm is a normal one - Because they are a new firm in Romania the opportunities to advance on your career are quite high - Good salary with meal vouchers and private medical insurance - 3 volunteering days per year where you can participate in any kind of volunteering initiatives you want during your work days

Cons

- The office is quite far for the people in Bucharest that want to go to it (Politehnica), but as far as I know they want to move it to a more central location

IRIS always fairs exceptionally well in the Great Place to Work and ither surveys regarding diversity and inclusion. The company is very open to people coming from many different backgrounds regardless of race, ethnicity, orientation and mindset.
