Pros

Can be great if you find yourself in a team with good manager/culture and I was given the part time hours I requested to help with having young kids after mat leave.

Cons

Often throw the wrong people to quickly fill jobs with negative impact on many people. Not paid fairly when moving up internally compared with bringin in external candidates.

We provide fantastic opportunities for career progression, such as helping you grow through funded training, apprenticeships and Masterships, and other internal initiatives such as our High Potential Programme, which gives our employees opportunities to progress and develop their careers with us. We also operate pay scales in our professional services teams, which enables our employees to grow their salaries as their skills develop, which are reviewed in line with the cost of living each year. Employee feedback is super important to us and our managers as it supports #Innovation and #TeamWork. We’re proud to use Peakon, a monthly survey engagement tool, to provide regular qualitative and quantitative data on what our employees love about IRIS and where we can continue to improve. Currently, we’re delighted to have a Peakon engagement score of 8 out of 10, which is improving year on year and already above the benchmark. We train our managers on how to use Peakon, reply to feedback, and engage in conversation that leads to positive action. We’re delighted that you recognise our fantastic people who come together every day to #MakeItHappen and our extensive incentive offerings for our salespeople. We’re delighted to operate a total reward package at IRIS, including amazing benefits, bonus schemes and holiday entitlement, and specifically for our salespeople, our comprehensive commission scheme, and luxurious trips. Our commission plans support employees through monthly payments, set monthly and quarterly quotas, and enables our salespeople the chance to earn up to 200% of commission when they achieve their target. We’re also delighted to operate a range of other incentives throughout the year to reward consistent achievement, such as running a recognition award for our highest performing salespeople each quarter with fantastic prizes, as well as inviting our Elite Club on luxury trips. We’re delighted to reward our salespeople, and happy to share that our employee attrition in the Sales Function is lower than the national average employee turnover. We also work hard across IRIS to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, and we created our dedicated ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme to do just that, as well as providing managers with ongoing support, communication, emotional intelligence and practical training, HR coaching, wellbeing tools and regular check-ins with their managers to ensure they’re performing at their best.
