Iris Software Group offers a supportive work environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop. The teams are collaborative, leadership is approachable, and there’s a strong focus on delivering quality solutions for customers. The company values professional growth and encourages ownership and innovation. Overall, a positive culture with good work–life balance and solid career progression opportunities.

Cons

As with a growing company, some processes are still evolving and can change from time to time. Workload can fluctuate during busy periods, though teams are generally supportive. Some legacy systems exist, which can be a learning curve but also a chance to modernise.

IRIS has been designated a Great Place to Work in the UK for 6 years in a row, entirely based on an anonymous survey each year conducted independently by Great Place to Work Ltd. We have also been externally recognised as one of the Financial Times UK’s Best Employers for two years in a row, based on feedback provided to the FT by staff they approached directly. We also measure staff engagement through anonymous monthly Peakon surveys and are proud our staff rate us in the top 25% of Peakon's technology benchmark. Employees tell us through Peakon that 'Management Support' is strong, scoring 9.0 out of 10 across IRIS, and we run a range of manager training and development initiatives at all levels to support this. Likewise, we have a dedicated Customer Success team focused on delivering fantastic results for our customers, and each week we celebrate someone across IRIS who's received recognition directly from a customer for the excellent service they've provided.
