Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We recognise the critical role that strong leadership plays in making IRIS a great place to work and delivering outstanding customer experience, and we have recently hired new members of IRIS' Executive team in support of this. Customer service and onboarding are key priorities for IRIS. We are proud members of the Institute of Customer Service and have taken steps to improve both client and employee experiences, such as implementing advanced technology, customer-focused initiatives, and recognition programs like our Customer Hero Awards to celebrate those delivering exceptional service. These efforts reflect our commitment to creating a seamless experience for every customer and ensuring our employees feel supported in delivering that promise. We’re pleased to hear that you valued the flexibility and autonomy IRIS offers, as creating a positive work-life balance is an important priority for us. We're always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

Customers, remote work and product

Cons

I’m sharing this feedback respectfully and professionally so future candidates can make an informed decision. I joined the company optimistic about the culture and leadership direction. There are talented individuals across the organization, and many team members genuinely want the company to succeed. Unfortunately, my experience with management practices and HR processes ultimately did not reflect the collaborative environment that was communicated during hiring. Over time, I raised concerns regarding how certain situations were being handled specifically around fairness, communication transparency, and accountability in decision-making. My intention was constructive: to improve processes and protect both employee morale and customer relationships. Instead of those concerns being reviewed through a structured discussion or mediation process, they were treated as resistance. When I attempted to clarify expectations I was reprimanded for mentioning This confirmed an environment where success was predetermined by company I also expected HR to serve as a neutral resource. However, there was no formal mediation, follow-up plan, or corrective action framework offered. Conversations were acknowledged but not investigated, and no documented resolution path Eventually, I was terminated. While companies have the right to make employment decisions, the absence of a transparent review process made the outcome feel predetermined rather than evaluated. This review is not written out of bitterness I appreciate the colleagues I worked with and the opportunities I had but candidates should understand the environment they may be entering: • Expectations and agreements may change without clear written alignment • Leadership accountability can be inconsistent • HR functions more as administrative support than an employee mediation channel • Speaking up about process concerns may not be welcomed as feedback For candidates who thrive in highly structured, clearly documented, and mutually accountable environments, I recommend asking detailed questions during interviews about conflict resolution procedures, performance documentation practices, and how leadership receives upward feedback
