Pros

Permanent work-from-home based on your region and come with many disadvantages.

Cons

Stay away from this company at all costs. They have no vision or future plans. The moment revenue drops, they start laying off employees even before appraisals — and they repeat this nonsense every single year. They provide zero medical insurance benefits for dependents and offer no leave encashment when you resign. Policies are changed whenever it suits them, with no transparency. The management is full of politics, there is absolutely no real IT culture, and there has been zero career growth for three years. This company is a complete red flag

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, but we believe you may have selected the wrong IRIS - we don't have operations in Bengaluru. Wishing you all the best. Kind regards, IRIS.

Pros

Great work life balance Great colleagues Great tech stack Lots of learning Good culture

Cons

Limited diversity is reflected at board and executive levels, which can affect how well underrepresented groups feel supported, including issues related to gender and ethnicity pay gaps. Compensation tends to fall below market averages based on publicly available salary data. Career progression opportunities are quite limited, with few clear pathways for advancement. Senior leadership performance has been inconsistent, which has affected confidence and overall direction.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We’re pleased to hear that you recognised the great culture, strong work-life balance, excellent colleagues, and the fantastic technology stack at IRIS. We’re also delighted that you valued the opportunities for learning and development we provide. We work hard to ensure IRIS is an inclusive, supportive, and fair place to work for all. We remain committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion and are proud to hold certifications such as Disability Confident Committed and to be a signatory of the Race at Work Charter. As part of that commitment, we continue to strengthen our Affinity Groups and run regular inclusion events, as well as track and publish our Gender Pay Gap Report annually to drive accountability. In relation to pay, as a Real Living Wage Employer, we’re passionate about paying employees fairly and competitively for their hard work. We run a companywide annual salary review process each autumn using external benchmarking data to ensure our pay levels remain competitive with the market rate. Career progression is also hugely important to us, which is why we recently launched skills assessments to provide transparency on growth pathways. We also offer our Elevate development program, funded learning qualifications, and our High Potential Programme, as well as internal mobility opportunities to support employees in advancing their careers. We also invest heavily in our dedicated leadership pathways to ensure managers at all levels have the skills to motivate and inspire their teams. These programs include CMI-accredited courses and our “Managing with IMPACT” initiative, designed to equip managers with ongoing coaching, practical tools, and communication training to maintain high standards of leadership across the business. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team
