We are delighted to support all our managers across IRIS, we offer a variety of training and tools to develop the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams. For example, we created our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme which is a dedicated four-day course to provide managers with the key elements of effective management, from motivating and engaging people to goal setting, to giving feedback and dealing with conflict. We are proud to have supported 42 managers through Manging with IMPACT this year and had full attendance on our 15th course. We are delighted that through Peakon, our employee engagement tool, ‘Management Support’ is one of our highest scoring drivers of engagement, with an eNPS of +68. However, we know there is always more we can do and are committed to encouraging continuous feedback and engaging with employee’s comments. Through Peakon, managers have made over 46,000 comment interactions with employees, which enables both bottom-up and top-down communication. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Lots of training and supportive colleagues and management

Cons

Some KPI's such as dials and dial time were unrealistic, however I know that's changed and improved since I left. Some managers weren't supportive and only cared about hitting target.

For our Sales team, we are proud to deliver a 4-week induction and training course, which covers the end-to-end sales process, supported by individual training modules and a tailored product knowledge programme. We also provide dedicated personal performance coaching for our salespeople so that they can develop their skills, learn different products, and grow their careers. Our L&D team also create a new seasonal curriculum each year open to all employees, which includes a range of free courses to develop interpersonal and practical skills at all levels. Our Spring/Summer curriculum encompassed 37 courses designed to support our employees and help them flourish. We realise we are an ambitious company and that’s why each department establishes clear and aspiring objectives. This helps us focus on what’s really important for driving our success in the year ahead. To help our employees achieve these goals, we work hard to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams. To do this, we created our dedicated ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme, a four-day programme that covers the key elements of effective management, from motivating and engaging people to goal setting, to giving feedback and dealing with conflict. We are delighted to have supported 42 managers through Manging with IMPACT this year and had full attendance on our 15th course. We are also proud to use Peakon, our immediate feedback tool, which enables employees to share their ideas and concerns with managers and senior leaders in real time.
