Pros

Senior Leadership genuinely engages with all levels of their business and leads by example when it comes to things that really matter. There is real buy in at the top, to build an inclusive and diverse workplace. There is a sense of togetherness throughout the organisation which is unusual in a business of this size, that is growing. In addition, another consistent trend is one of opportunity. IRIS employees are invested in both personally through incredible benefits and professionally through the offer of multiple, consistent opportunities to grow, learn and develop professionally. On a personal level - every single person I have met to date has been truly welcoming and I felt pretty much part of the family by the end of week one!

Cons

I don't have any cons from my experience of working here

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you recognise our commitment and passion for #1RIS, where we champion diversity, equality, and development. Communicating our plans and goals across the business is of the upmost importance to us, and we are delighted that senior leaders can engage with all our employee through various channels, from our global monthly company updates, which is presented by our executive members, dedicated newsletters, our Global Teams Channel, a weekly email form our CEO, Elona, and Peakon, our monthly engagement survey tool. We are also very proud of our fantastic employees, and we are thrilled to continually invest in their personal and professional development, with a range of opportunities, from secondments, our mentorship programme, a quarterly updated learning curriculum, a programme dedicated to supporting our high potential employees, and our Made in IRIS CEO Award founded by our very own CEO, where employees can submit their great idea to provide innovative new products for our customers. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Pros

I have worked with wonderful people who are bright, knowledgeable and hard working, Good agile processes

Cons

IRIS overwork their staff, under value them by giving them low salaries, excuses for not providing 100% percent bonuses, promotions, salary increases. I have had two promotions with no salary increases, but IRIS will make you feel that I should appreciate the promotion given, Slow progression. There is a lot of who you know that can help you move up the ladder very quickly. Because of this some people have been let down and not given a fair opportunity. HR favours management. If you have a grievance, management will always come on top.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We are delighted to reward our employees for their hard work, celebrating 152 promotions in the last 12 months and offering a variety of annual bonus plans and monthly commission schemes. Each year, we are proud to run a salary review process, where we use a best practice and evidence-led process to fair and competitive salary increases. This ensures increases are assigned fairly and consistently across the organisation. We are also proud to be recognised as a Real Living Wage employer. This means we commit to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. Investing in our employees personal and professional development is also important to us. We are delighted to run an extensive range of progression opportunities, from our annual High Potential scheme, which provides our employees with a yearlong course to progress their careers with us, through networking sessions, webinars, and other development activities, to our IRIS Mentors, which encourages senior leaders to share their knowledge and expertise to support a colleagues’ progression and development. Over the last 12 months, we have also enrolled 19 apprentices to join our cohort of 52, provided 37 courses in our Spring/Summer Curriculum and delivered 155 training sessions, as well as supporting 74 mangers with our Managing with Impact programme and are welcoming 43 senior employees to our new Leading with Impact programme. We’re also working towards publishing clear career paths for all employees across the business, so that everyone can flourish in their profession. We’re sorry to hear that this hasn’t been your experience, and we strongly encourage you to reach out to your HR representative, so that she can help. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you recognise our fantastic employees and enjoy your hybrid working model. We are proud to provide an extensive range of products and services for our customer base, recently investing heavily in cloud technology to offer innovative and effective solutions in Accounting, Education, and Human Capital Management. We are delighted to be officially recognised as a Real Living Wage employer, meaning we are committed to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. We also run an annual salary review each autumn, where we use a best practice and evidence-led process to fair and competitive salary increases, taking into consideration influencing factors to ensure we are taking a fair and informed approach. We also offer pay scales in select departments to automatically reward employees when they hit career milestones, provide bonus and commission schemes where eligible, and provide a generous benefits, holiday and charitable volunteering package to all UK employees.
