Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted that you recognise the great opportunities we have on offer, such as training courses, apprenticeship funding, secondments, our High Potential Programme and mentoring. At IRIS, we strive to make a friendly and inclusive work environment for all and offer a range of wellbeing initiatives (like our weekly workplace support group, trained mental health first aiders, free private healthcare and discounted gym memberships) to cultivate a supportive and welcoming culture. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative, contact EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

Nice work surroundings, but that's about it. Nice food and eating area, that's about it

Cons

Poor management style and senior management style, with an 'untouchable' attitude, but bad employee management skills

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sorry that you were made to feel inferior, we sincerely ask you to reach out to Stephanie Kelly, our Chief People Officer, in complete confidence, so that we can put things right. We work hard across IRIS to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, and we created our dedicated Managing with IMPACT training programme to do just that, as well as providing managers with ongoing support, communication, emotional intelligence and practical training, HR coaching, wellbeing tools and regular check-ins with their managers to ensure they’re performing at their best. The start of this year also saw the launch of Peakon (an immediate feedback tool), which enables employees to share their ideas with managers and senior leaders in real time – allowing us to act on ideas quickly and respond to your comments. If you have any further feedback or you’d like to discuss this in more detail, please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team.

Pros

- Some people are nice - OK if you need initial experience as a starter job - The cons unfortunately outweigh any minute pros.

Cons

IRIS is a badly run organisation with terrible management. This company has so much money, yet they are extremely tight and pay as little as possible. That’ll be part of the reason for the extremely high turnover rate…the other reasons are the lack of career progression, and the awful way senior members of staff speak down to colleagues. I’ve witnessed swearing, seen employees been bullied and belittled and overall have been astonished that these attitudes are allowed to pass. I left IRIS because of these reasons, and I wouldn’t even think of coming back in the future. If you are young, I wouldn’t recommend working here. They will abuse your good nature and make you work unpaid overtime, with no thanks given at the end of it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have zero tolerance towards bullying of any kind and are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We sincerely ask you to reach out to Stephanie Kelly, our Chief People Officer, in complete confidence, so that we can put things right. We pride ourselves on being a supportive and inclusive culture and train all our managers to reflect our values and take any instances where someone has fallen short of our high standards very seriously. Additionally, paying our employees fairly and competitively for their hard work is of the upmost importance to us, and we're delighted to be officially recognised as a Real Living Wage employer. On top of this, we run an annual salary review process, offer pay scales in select departments to automatically reward employees when they hit career milestones, provide bonus and commission schemes where eligible, and provide a generous benefits, holiday and charitable volunteering package to all UK employees. Also, providing all employees with the chance to grow their career is very important to us, and we're proud to offer internal promotions, regular training courses, and development activities. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team
