At IRIS we highly prioritise giving all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, which is why we created our dedicated leadership pathways to do just that, as well as providing managers at every level with the tools and development they need to ensure they’re performing at their best. We’re delighted that on Peakon, our monthly employee survey, the vast majority of our managers score above the benchmark on employee engagement, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. We wholeheartedly encourage our employees to leave honest and constructive feedback for their manager so that they can understand how they're doing and be the best manager they can be to their team.
We’re pleased to run a companywide annual salary review process each autumn, which includes external benchmarking data, to ensure we’re paying the market rate. To ensure consistency and fairness in assigning increases and to help close our gender pay gap, we also run an annual review prior to our salary review. We’re further delighted to offer all permanent employees an annual bonus entitlement, which usually pays out in summer. Along with competitive salaries, we also understand the importance of ‘total reward’ – we invest heavily in progression opportunities, internal and external training, extensive employee wellbeing support, and investment in volunteering and charitable initiatives.
