Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed working with your colleagues and our focus on #TeamWork. We’re proud to run a companywide annual salary review process which uses external benchmarking data to ensure consistency and fairness in assigning increases and that we’re paying the market rate. We work together with Heads of Function and Senior Management to assign consistent increases using best practises and standardised rules, and our managers receive extensive training on how salaries are decided. We also operate pay scales in select department, such as Professional Services, which enables our employees to grow their salaries as their skills develop, which are reviewed in line with the cost of living each year. Along with competitive salaries, we also understand the importance of ‘total reward’, which is why we’re delighted to offer a range of benefits for our UK employees that can be tailored to their current needs and lifestyles, from including company-funded private healthcare, employee assistance programme, discounted gym memberships, matched pension with NI uplift, our electric car scheme and many other opt-in benefits. We also invest significantly in progression opportunities, internal and external training, regular feedback and recognition through our range of awards, extensive employee wellbeing support, and investment in volunteering and charitable initiatives. At IRIS, we highly prioritise giving all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, which is why we created our dedicated leadership pathways to do just that, as well as providing managers at every level with the tools and development they need to ensure they’re performing at their best. We’re delighted that on Peakon the vast majority of our managers score above the benchmark on employee engagement, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. We wholeheartedly encourage our employees to leave honest and constructive feedback for their manager so that they can understand how they're doing and be the best manager they can be to their team. Acting on employee feedback is at the heart of everything we do and we’re very proud to have been certified as a Great Place to Work for 5 years running in the UK, therefore we’re always looking for ways to be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team

Getting worse so left

Pros

I used to enjoy it here. But it really slipped with the CEO change, but I suspect it might be the board and probably why the previous CEO left.

Cons

I was told 'you should work outside your hours' at one point, that was it for me. Disgusting and seems, sadly to be going backwards. IRIS will say they get great scores, but bonus are based on this score, so you'll always go higher than you might want to.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we’re surprised and disappointed by your comments. We’re very proud of our fantastic Executive team, who care deeply about IRIS’ success and know that our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Recently, we were delighted to welcome our Chairman, Gus Malezis, to the role of interim CEO as we search for a new CEO to lead us into FY26. This leadership change has not affected our focus on being a Great Place to Work for our employee or putting our customers first. For example, we recently introduced two new benefits for our UK employees: increased our UK 'holiday buy' benefit to 5 days, and offered over 60,000 hours of training to our employees last year - with the aim to exceed this in 2025. We’re really proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work in the UK, US, Canada, Ireland and India and as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for 5 years running, which is based on the anonymous feedback our employees share in a survey conducted independently by a third-party consultancy. We’re also delighted to use Peakon as our regular employee feedback tool so that employees can share feedback and suggestions with their manager, HR and our leadership teams. In some bonus plans, we expect managers to achieve a baseline employee engagement score in Peakon in order to receive a payout. This is because we know that having a great manager is the most important aspect of how you feel at work. The vast majority of managers score much higher than this threshold, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve their performance and the engagement of their teams. We appreciate that IRIS is a fast-paced, successful and innovative company that always seeks to excel, and as part of this, people occasional work overtime. However, any overtime worked is handled via our UK Time In Lieu or Overtime Policies, to ensure employees find a good work-life balance. We’re sorry that this wasn’t your experience, and we encourage you to email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk with any further comments. Kind regards, the HR team
