Pros

There are none I can think of

Cons

They acquire businesses and then absolutely destroy them. Destroying team morals by implementing absurd objectives and processes because of which teams of 10+ people quit within a month. Definitely wasn't a pleasure to work for this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We are delighted to be an acquisitive company that invests into successful organisations, their fantastic employees, and brilliant product to provide a wider product range to our customer base. Based on our experience, we have refined our acquisition and integration processes and proudly introduced our dedicated team within IRIS that focuses on providing a warm and supportive welcome to new businesses into the IRIS family to help them grow and continue their success. Part of this form an invitation to join our competitive benefits package, monthly Peakon surveys and site updates, and taking the time to get to know employees so we can benefit from their shared expertise. We appreciate that we’re a fast-paced and growing company and are constantly working hard to integrate our acquisitions into the IRIS family in a welcoming and effective manner. It is important for us to nurture a #1RIS culture which aligns the acquired company’s values with IRIS ones. At IRIS we’ve introduced employee, departmental and company objectives settings to ensure we’re always on track to excel as a company, whilst at the same time giving employees pre-agreed and measurable targets to work towards these. This allows our employees to track their own career progressions and achievements and gives them an amazing base for their annual review session with their manager. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please contact EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted to hear you recognise our fantastic colleagues who work together to make an IMPACT and our amazing flexible working policy that allows our employees to work from the comfort of their homes. We’re very proud to be a Real Living Wage employer, this means we commit to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. We’re passionate about paying our employees fairly and competitively to reward their dedication and hard work. We’re proud to run a companywide annual salary review process each autumn, which includes external benchmarking data, to ensure we’re paying the market rate. We are proud to run an annual review to ensure consistency and fairness in assigning increases and to help close our gender pay gap. We also offer pay scales in select departments (such as Customer Support) to enable employees to grow their salaries as they develop their skills. We’re very proud to have celebrated 40 promotions in the Customer Services teams in the last 12 months. We’re also delighted to offer all permanent employees an annual bonus entitlement, which usually pays out in July. In Customer Support, we also offer employees a quarterly bonus to support their regular earnings. Along with competitive salaries, we also understand the importance of ‘total reward’ – we invest significantly in progression opportunities, internal and external training, regular feedback and recognition through our range of awards, extensive employee wellbeing support, and investment in volunteering and charitable initiatives. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please contact EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team
