We appreciate that IRIS is a large and growing organisation, with offices from around the world and new businesses regularly joining the IRIS family. We ensure that we are regularly communicating our plans and priorities for the future through monthly global updates, regular newsletters, weekly emails from our CEO, and our Global Teams Channel. We also run a weekly induction for all new hires, to welcome them to the company, as well as detail our systems and processes and how to navigate Delve (our company directory). We work hard to make sure IRIS is a Great Place to Work for all our employees, and we are delighted to have been recognised as such by Great Place to Work® for two years running, as well as being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces, UK’s Best Workplaces for Women and for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work®. We want our employees to feel empowered and we work hard to ensure that everyone across IRIS can share their fantastic ideas and suggestions with us. We encourage you to use Peakon, our monthly survey tool, to share your ideas with managers and senior leaders in real time. This feedback can be instantly viewed, allowing our leadership teams to act on ideas quickly, respond to comments and make an #IMPACT. We are delighted that we have an engagement score of 7.5 across Customer Support, where we consistently score high on Autonomy, Recognition, and Manager Support as drivers of engagement. Additionally, managers responded and interacted over 7,000 times to comments left by our Customer Support employees. Our Customer Support Team at Wigan recently celebrated their year end with a group award event, where the team voted on several award categories before treating themselves to a night out. We are also very proud for our Wigan Customer Support Team, who have recently won our IMPACT Awards for Team of the Quarter, celebrating their win with a team dinner. We are delighted to support our managers development through our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ programme, which has currently supported 74 managers in the past 12 months, with 15 starting the course soon. This training programme provides managers with ongoing support, communication, emotional intelligence and practical training to develop the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams. We have also recently launched our ‘Leading with IMPACT’ programme, with our first cohort off 22 senior leaders due to start in July. We also offer our employees the chance to learn from more experienced colleagues through our Mentoring Programme. With a range of 30 senior mentors to choose from, employees can receive access to a wider set of skills, experience, and perspectives than from their manager alone. It also empowers the mentor to provide individual advice, support and knowledge sharing with a specific mentee. I left the company after 4 months as I didn't want to work in IRIS as not a good environment to work in. The management team had no clue about the work involved and was trying to push more. Not enough people in the team to do the job and be to able a good provide good service to the customers. High staff turn in areas so never knew who to talk to and because of this, every department seems to be slow in responding.

We work hard across IRIS to provide a supportive and caring environment, where everyone can flourish. We are sorry to hear that this was not your experience. We have developed our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams. We are delighted that so far, we have supported 74 managers with ongoing support, training in communication, emotional intelligence, and HR coaching, as well as signposting wellbeing tools to ensure that their employees are performing at their best. In addition, employee feedback is very important to us. We use our monthly employee engagement survey, Peakon, across the business for staff to send immediate feedback to managers and senior leaders, so that they can act on ideas and comments quickly. Since its launch, we are delighted that employees have shared more than 50,000 comments and managers have posted over 41,000 interactions, responses, and follow-up questions. We also are proud to have 35 Employee Voice Ambassadors (EVAs) across several departments, with 19 ambassadors in Operations. These ambassadors gather our teams’ collective voices and feedback to the departments senior leaders and Executive member to implement positive change and further improve engagement We are currently in a recruitment drive to welcome fantastic new employees into the IRIS family, who can delight our customers and evolve IRIS into the best it can be. We are also very proud of our extensive track record of growing via acquiring fantastic organisations with great people who enable us to provide a greater range of products to our customer base. To keep everyone at IRIS connected we have a ‘Meet the HR team’ page on our HR homepage that employees can access to find our who they should contact for support and how, as well as key links to frequently used platforms and systems like Delve contacts, which provides the name, job title, hierarchy, and contact details of all our employees.
