Secure, critical job because you must report to work even if the Government shuts down Plenty of overtime due to case backlog No dress code Alternative Work Schedule gives us one day off a week or every two weeks

Cons

Managers often have no education beyond a two- or four-year degree Tammany Hall-type environment due to nepotism because entire families work for the IRS
