Pros

An organization that gives individuals a lot of freedom in how to work your assignments (depending on the nature of your work), do not micromanage, treat people with respect, carry through on most commitments like diversity, training and other organizational objectives. Good work life balance. Professional/ growth is up to you, the organization will support and encourage promising individuals by providing rich opportunities

Cons

You wont get rich working here. You will have a lot of job satisfaction. Some who complain, do so as they expect a lot to be handed to them by their management. As an individual you can make a difference in many instances, not all. Things do move slowly, plenty of admin work that is redundant, some even nonsensical

Pros

Money is money and the pay is a lot more than minimum wage.

With seasonal jobs you are limited to other seasonal jobs.

Pros

The pay is good, and it helps to belong to a union when problems or descrepanices arise with your pay or other issues.

Cons

Advancement in this field is difficult, and to become permanent.
