Pros

Benefits are great and pay is good for a single person with no children. Off all federal holidays.

Cons

Tons of work. Tons of information to learn. Takes at least 5 years to feel comfortable with the job. Can be very stressful!

Pros

For some the remote work is definitely a pro, I would say also benefits but I didn't need them so I can't vouch for them. OT and PTO is very generous though. You do also get a yearly raise.

Cons

Honestly the pay in my opinion is low for a fed job where you're just getting screamed at most days. I feel the training was very lacks. The "lead line" which is solely there to help you if your stuck has a lot of people who are very rude when you ask a question. They micro manage your time on calls and on the phone, you work 8 hours you have 16 minutes throughout the day if you need a drink or the bathroom. I averaged 15ish minutes a call and that was to high for them.

Determinations is great. Exam is awful

Cons

If you don't enjoy being talked down to, this may not be the position for you. Look into sbse or lbi instead
