Pros

Decently secure job if you make it past the 1 year probationary period for new hires. You’ll probably be miserable due to the environment but it’s hard to be fired, at least depending on your circumstance. If you’re on the SB/SE (versus SP) side you will have more and better chances at climbing the career ladder.

Cons

Disorganized and disappointing to the nth degree, plus a lot of problematic people get recycled into different positions rather than fired. It’s a mess and it will likely never get any better.

Pros

Health insurance. Sick leave. Vacation leave. Retirement plan.

Cons

I worked there many years and should have done anything else, but this job fit my work/life balance so I stayed. The place is just nuts. You get hired, receive little to no training, then they threaten to fire you because you’re not meeting performance standards. Evening/night shift is like reality tv, literal fights between rival coworkers, employees drinking alcohol & smoking pot in the garage. Managers sit in their offices and do nothing but gossip with their friends. It’s an awful place to work.
