Pros

Good Pay and bonuses when busy. Hybrid. Close, free parking. Many insurance plans to pick from and they pay 70% of insurance. Overtime. Seems like there is a holiday once a month.

Cons

Computer systems convoluted. Rules change. Bad time to offer cons due to COVID. Need people desperately. High stress. They hire underqualified people.

Pros

TSP, accrued leave, the ability to telework, and have a work/life balance.

Cons

The pay for a government position is too low, considering the technical expertise required. Furthermore, the systems and processes are extremely outdated.
