Pros

access to information that is valuable elsewhere $$.

Cons

taxes are so complicated that it's nearly impossible to explain to average people. The IRS is a weak-cultured organization. Theory X management (you figure out what that is). It's funny though. Leadership is always trying to fill holes while two other leaders are digging new ones.

Inefficient and Terrible

Pros

Good benefits I guess. A raise every eyar if you're good but because gov is so slow it can take up to 4 weeks to show up on your paycheck.

Cons

Slow, inefficient, and incredibly boring. Management is incompetent and did not meet in person the entire pandemic, so training was non-existent. So many other cons but I don't have time.
