Pros
First year is filled with training and independent work, depending on employee aptitude. You are paired with a more experienced Revenue Officer who provides training. I was part of a wonderfully supportive team. Any manager or more experienced RO spoken to would be more than willing to provide assistance. No micro-managing unless time is unaccounted for, employees curate their own schedules to resolve their workload.
Cons
Workload is high and can get away from you if you do not remain diligent. Not eligible for telework opportunities until after successful performance in first year.
