Pros

Once you're in, it's really hard to be pushed out Having a big site and break rooms to walk around is nice Other employees and coworkers are kind and carefree Employees needs are prioritized over operations

Cons

Organization as a whole is a wholly incompetent mess Your extra efforts won't be noticed or rewarded Senior positions are given to whoever is complacent and stays for years, instead of to those who improve performance You *will* be punished for trying to develop solutions and improve the system. Your coworkers want their operations to be mediocre for their own benefit

Pros

The amount of energy and training I received made me feel so valued and seen. The people were fantastic, the culture in my area was welcoming, and my supervisor actually treated us like adults - no micromanaging and they had our back.

Cons

After the new presidential administration - Loss of funding, micromanaging, loss of trust, justifying our jobs on a weekly basis … just to name a few.
