Pros

Some talented people work here.

Cons

Robotic management. They may be nice people away from the office, but at the office, it is like machines are making decisions instead of people. They sometimes time how long it takes people to use the bathroom!

Pros

I had enjoyed many benefits working at the IRS. Being part of the Diversity Advisory Board was just one of the extras that you can participate in to make the workplace a more tolerant environment for your coworkers. I enjoyed learning the revenue code and applying those codes to preform my duties as a tax examiner. The work is never the same so it's impossible to get bored. The training is sufficient to preform your duties, but there's always room for improvement. My front line manager is the best manager in the building, bar none!

Cons

Unfortunately, the process of handling a serious violation of EEO, specicially sexual harassment, was not handled with the zero tolerance as we were thought to believe. After three long years, the harasser was put on day shift and served a three day suspension as the punitive measure. I am not the first victim, not even the third, yet he still had a job.
