      Big organization, big architecture, many areas. International environment and a lot to learn

      Cons

      Many mediocre people working in there. Good people and good professionals are not valued as should.

We do appreciate all feedback and you will be glad to know that we are currently implementing a new hiring process to better enable us to attract and select talent. Also we are constantly looking for ways to improve our performance management process and to give managers more tools to enable them to recruit, manage and retain the best people.

      Pros

      * Absolutely none. This place is a sad joke.

      Cons

      * Ancient tools that in many cases don't even work with never operating systems. * Mandatory use of extremely buggy, terribly designed frameworks with absolutely no documentation and little to no support. * Absolutely no cooperation between teams, not even basic communication. * Total and utter disregard for best coding practices. People can even get pissed if you try to improve production code because they don't want to change what "works". * You'll work with people who are used to fix problems by hitting stuff with a hammer. * You'll be forced to wear a tie. * Not one single perk. Not even free coffee for christ's sake. Avoid this place at all costs unless you're feeling incredibly masochistic and want to ruin your developer career.

      Pros

      International assignments and good bonus when going to those.

      Cons

      Company culture, everybody is angry, continuously fighting due political issues and it is not an organization committed to move forward or innovate. Several people in high roles due friendship or adoration to other managers.

      I am sorry that your Isban experience was negative. I do not know what country this is from but I do not think it is the UK so I cannot respond specifically.
