Pros

- Work-life balance - Decent cafeteria & gym on-site - Stable jobs - Big successful company to withstand inflation due to diversification - 80/20 - Management and all departments are accessible

Cons

- Not the most transparent company in many ways - Rather low salaries for Fortune 200 but good benefits package - Not a lot of growth opportunities in Glenview - Not really diverse and inclusive. Rather a collective of Chicago Suburban crowd that all think the same way.

Pros

Easy work since engineering is outsourced overseas, very little micro managing since everyone is overworked and can't pay attention to your contributions. Very flexible work schedule. Sometime the companies provides hot dogs and cookies as a sign of thanks.

Cons

There is favoritism/discrimination by Race and "Diversity". Getting promoted does not mean you'll get a pay increase. Vacation and compensation are far below industry average, but the ease of the job makes it tolerable. Very little investment in equipment and technology for employees. Constantly changing goals and objectives whenever management changes which is very often (high turnover)
