      Stock price up. . . Employee morale down

      There are no longer any pros to working at this company.

      Cons

      ITW use to be a great place to work. They use to value their employees and there was a distinct career path for employees. New CEO and management team is completely changing the company culture. All they care about now is the stock price and are spending every dime of company's profits plus increasing debt in order to buy back shares and make themselves richer.

      Pros

      Rigid process driving focus and for identifying opportunities.

      Cons

      Very low morale, low expectations and outlook. Growth has been a problem as well as the lack of innovation. There's nothing new in the works and we continue to lay people off, except people are leaving now faster than we can lay them off.

      Pros

      Medical Benefits and 401k is the only reason the current employees working at subpar performance.

      Cons

      This division of ITW is toxic. The company performance is below satisfactory. For the past 3 years they have not been profitable. Over the past 2 years more than a dozen employees have left the company due to new management. They recently removed the whole Engineering department due to low revenue generated by the company. Management doesnt understand how to run a component company that strives on new engineering design. Very political, unorganized, and toxic environment is the reason why the company is doing poorly in sales. All the employees have a dark outlook due the annual cuts the company has done over the past years. Below average pay grade.
