      Pros

      ITW is made up of a lot of SMBs, each with relative autonomy on managing the business (with P&L targets.) No command and control from the top lets the business focus on what they know rather than having the suits calling the shots.

      Cons

      Fortune 200 company trying to function like a 200 employee company. The mindset of how to get things done doesn't scale at all when tackling large efforts.

      A top company where you have to do your best, lot of pressure with deadlines, requires high commitment, but great professional development

      Sometimes innovation is difficult to develop properly, profitability in the short term, restructuring and redundancies, and too conservative structuree too.
