Pros

The other employees are good people. There is the possibility to move to different facilities if desired and there is a variety of experiences. There is no shortage of work.

Cons

There is no structure and the work structure is very shallow. There is a lot of secrecy, making people generally nervous. Along with the secrecy, there is a large work load causing excessive stress. There is not enough work/life balance; the comment "half day?" has been thrown around way too often when people leave at 5pm after putting in a full day. The bad portion of "no shortage of work" leads employees to never have any down time. The pay is also very low for those that started out during the down turn.

Pros

The company is owned by Illinois Tool Works. Both ITW and Loma are well organized, professional companies that know their place in the industry. Great benefits package, good management, great employees. Compensation is a bit under par.

Cons

This company will work you to death. This company reschedules everything with their customers 4 times. The company is understaffed in the field, both sales and service, drastically. The company takes excessive time to accomplish mission critical, time oriented/deadline tasks.

Pros

Decent salary and made some strong connections with some good people.

Cons

• Terrible Upper Management and Sales Leadership • Insanely behind on sales reporting (at times by 4 or more months) leading to sales representatives not having any idea what is going on within their own territor • Expected to not open your mouth and have an opinion or you will be shunned and forced out of the company over time • Very high turnover due to being constantly disrespected, overworked, treated like children and all autonomy continuously being taken away from the position • Leadership is actively trying to force more tenured and older employees out of the company to bring in new people who don't know how bad things really are and how terrible the leadership truly is • You will leave this company as a different person than when you joined and in all the wrong ways due to all I just mentioned above
