Pros

Solid, stable and decent place to work.

Cons

Has some of the worst managers I’ve ever seen, especially in I.T. Culture is very management centric, there is a tendency to overlook incompetence or abusive behavior if someone is favored by management.

Pros

Stable company with pretty good benefits and a pension plan. If you like a job where all you need to do is keep your head down and just survive, you'll love it here.

Cons

Unfortunately, the pension plan has created 'golden handcuffs' for many in leadership, and those leaders don't play well together. Far too much protection of individual turf, little if any cross collaboration, stifling productivity and creativity.

Pros

Company cares about its employees and ensures competitive pay and benefits. Good work-life balance and hard work is rewarded. Hybrid work schedule (40% remote) is a good balance for flexibility that still allows for connection with coworkers.

Cons

Being a regulated utility can make innovation challenging at times.
