      Pros

      -Decent benefits. -Pension is a plus, and rare these days. -Job security. The company has a monopoly (being an electric utility), they rarely need to downsize. -Most employees are hard working good people.

      Cons

      -Top down style management -Very rigid, bureaucratic, risk averse culture -Leaders who aren't loyal to the corporate enforced culture usually get demoted

      A shell of its former self

      Stable company with good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Leadership in Customer Service has lost their way, they've become obsessed in their measurements and workforce management. It has become a game that you can no longer win, they are looking too hard for failure and seem to thrive on correctional actions. Strongly suggest avoiding Customer Service.

      Pros

      Great coworkers. Fantastic work life balance. The team I work with shares information and helps each other freely. Retirement benefits are generous and definitely set employees up to have a dignified retirement

      Cons

      Administrative overhead for making changes. Pace of change and innovation can be slow because it’s a utility and breaking something can have a very bad effect on the customer and company, not like a tech company where you just issue a whoopsies and sweep it under the rug
