Pros

Stability, work-life balance, pay, benefits, some departments have a great culture, including IT.

Cons

Some areas change averse, culture in some areas is too top-down with authority, and not a open to suggestions from those “below” them.

Pros

Great pay & benefits, career advancement is very competitive but is certainly encouraged by leadership. Safety is the number one value and the company backs it up.

Cons

Rules and regulations are constantly changing in the power utility industry, driven by the PUC and aftermath of COVID-19. I would have given 5 stars, however my experience in the company was as a CSR. As such, it is important to be aware that if you wish to join the company as an Entry CSR, you will face most days with fierce, emotionally-charged callers, which makes getting through some days extremely difficult. If you can, I would recommend joining the company in ANY other role. However, if you are able to handle such an environment, this is a great place to be a part of.
